My Forevers

 The both of you are like a dream,

You came out of nowhere and set my heart on fire,

You made magic when there was hardly any left,

The both of you make each day a blessing,

We may not talk on a daily basis like we used to,

But when we do it's like a new world opening up,

It's moments of quietness between us that gives me the opportunity to see why I love you both so much,

I don't stare just to creep you out,

But to understand why the world is brighter and less noisy,

I admire the warmth you both give,

I admire the beauty that you both show,

I admire the love that drips from your bodies,

I accepted all of what is possible,

I've accepted what may conspire,

I've seen this before,

In another life,

Another time,

But it was always the two of you,

Always being that light for my best,

Always that wondering brook in my peaceful forest,

Always my starry night sky,

Always being that Peace in my chaotic world,

Always my dreams at night,

And invariably what my forever looks like.
