I Am The Pheonix

 I am the fire that burns within, 

I burn the impurity that is poisoning the soul,

I burn and burn until there is no more life left,

When all seems bleak and unclear I emerge from the ashes brand new,

I am the new beginning,

I am that new breath of fresh air,

The old me died within the fire,

Died with the burning ember within my heart,

Died knowing it will all end soon,

Only to rise to shake off the ash of the old,

To spread my fiery wings across the darken sky,

To inspire the change that is needed,

To encourage hope,

To brighten the way to the new life that has been granted,

I am the fire that burns within,
