Last Moments

Father where were you?

Why did you leave us alone?

Why did you not see our pain?

Mama died crying for you,

I died hating you,

She died with the hope that you'll return,

I screamed asking why didn't you return?

Mama is here trying to calm me,

While I'm here getting angrier and angrier,

Mama says you have another daughter,

Do you love her like you loved me?

Are you there for her like I wished you were for me?

Does she know how great of a father you were?

Or does she know how great of a father you could be?

Does she know how much I love you?

Does she know how truly missed you are?

Or how sad I am that I was easily replaced?

Mama is here trying to calm me,

But I am here getting angrier and angrier,

And I am searching for the father I used to have.
