Nights Like This

It's nights like this I  find myself in love,

In love with the peaceful breeze that blows through my window,

In love with the sounds that's around me,

In love with the night sky and stars,

In love with the way love rushes over me when the memory of the last time you and I was together,

It's nights like this I find myself smiling,

Smiling cause I know you love me,

Smiling cause you never tried to hurt me,

Smiling cause you listen to me when no one wants to,

Smiling cause I know one day the smile will be forever,

It's nights like this I  thank the good Lord,

I thank him for my life,

I thank him for my love,

And I thank him for my many blessings.
