The Heart Of The Winters Poet

I am detached from who I once was, Detached from feelings I once had of myself, I allowed the negative to cast its nasty spell on me, I lost what was the best I could offer, Lost the smile that used to make me feel like I was above the world, I detached the moment my childhood was taken, I detached the second I wasn't believed, The detachment was from years of feeling that I am bad and no good, The detachment ended the moment I met her, But when some words hit the ear that attacks my character the detachment begins again, The negative thoughts are becoming louder than her words, Louder than the music that is played in my heart, I am detached,  And forever will be.

  I am here in a place of regret, A place of no understanding, I'm in a place where time has no meaning, A place where feelings are not felt, I'm lost in a world of darkness, No sense of self, No sense of love, I am in a place of shame, I am in a place of no dreams can be made, I am in a place of detachment, I am here, I am there, I am nowhere.

  I am the being that was once seen as majestic, My skin looked as though it was made of the purest of silky dark chocolate, I  was the fairy that littles would dream about, My wings were once seen as stars in the night sky, My voice has a soft and kind melody to it that could soothe anyone's troubles away, I am the magic that noone seems to remember, My name noone knows, My heart noone hears, My soul noone sees, My mission has always been to make the world a brighter and magical place for the scared and the lost could feel safe and loved, I am the Black Fairy and I am so happy to meet your acquaintance.

It's that fragrance that often lingers in the wind, It's the many colors that it comes in, It's the single that turns into a dozen, It's the thorns that protect while hardly ever being seen, The beauty of it stays in the mind like a great song, A single rose can make a person's day, And a single rose is something I wish to give to you.

You made a difference to my world, You came and took pieces of my heart and rebuilt it,  You made it into a new place of peace for me and you, You changed empty thoughts into memories we both could share, You've started building new places within my soul so that I wouldn't be so closed off, The damaged and empty shell is now mended and filling each day with your love, You've rebuilt this "home" with just your love and willingness to give a damn, You've rebuilt my love, trust, and kindness for others by just being you, You've rebuilt me and my heart so I may always love you with it, I love you forever and always.

I love how you love me, Love the way you send me to the moon and gently bring me back, Love the way the stars align around you when you know I need to be cheered up, I love how you love me,  I love how you make my days brighter with just a single smile, Love how the earth stands still whenever you look at me for just a moment Love how you give me wings when your energy surrounds me, I love the way you love me, And in my opinion, your love is the only blessing that makes sense right now.

You are my home, You are more than a place or buildings, You are what home feels like, You bring some kind of peace to my life and world, You bring out the creative side in me, You make my dreams a reality, My hopes into smiles, My roughs into diamonds, My joy into sunshine, Today I asked for you to complete my heart, I asked you to be my lil wolf, Asked you to be my protection, You are my home, My place of peace, My beautiful girlfriend and wife.
