The Heart Of The Winters Poet

Gather the Gods and Goddesses there is a war to be had, A war we have been preparing for, Bring forth your weapons, Bring forth your passion, Bring forth the Chaos that you are holding in, There is a war brewing, A war that has been brewing for more than a millennia, Bring forth the Mischief of the Gods, May the battle be swift, May it be full of strength, May it be glorious to all that witness it, Gather the Gods and Goddesses so that we all can be together.

My name is Solarys, Goddess of Poetry, I am a muse to the enchanted Script, My words are like notes of the past of myself and the Goddesses and Gods of The nightskins, With my words, The past comes alive, With the memory of the scared, the dead, and the lost I tell their story, With the Help of one who's called Papa Eclipse, My words are heard by many, My memories are faded, My words are soft, My feelings are felt, My scars are seen, But the one question I have haven't been answered, Why were we hidden in the dark shielded place for so long?

  My love, Why do you stress so? There is no time limit on you today or any day, Please take your time and breath so you can relax, Allow me to take some of that stress, My love, Why are you holding in so much? Please tell me what bothers you, Tell me so that I may understand more, Allow me to be that ear that you desperately need, My love, Why do you not see the light and Joy you bring? Show me that smile so I may have the best of my day complete, Tell me how and why you can keep my attention for so long, Allow to be your light in the dark and be that joy gave away, My love, Why can't you allow others to do what you do for them? Please know that just like them you deserve all good things, Remember that the love you give will be the love you get in return, Allow me to show you how loved, important, and special you are to me, My love, Just know I see you for you and I am not going anywhere until you decide that I should leave. My love, I love you forever and always.  

I see your heart and your soul, I see what makes you so powerful, I see the love that seems to be out of reach to some, But I get a piece of it every time we talk, I see the lion in you that comes out seldomly, I can hear your deep growl commanding my soul to sit and to stay still, You whisper deep and low and I get weak at the knees at the sound of your voice, I see the King you are, I see the strength you hold, I see the peace you give, I see the fullness of that loving heart, And I see who you truly are.

Father where were you? Why did you leave us alone? Why did you not see our pain? Mama died crying for you, I died hating you, She died with the hope that you'll return, I screamed asking why didn't you return? Mama is here trying to calm me, While I'm here getting angrier and angrier, Mama says you have another daughter, Do you love her like you loved me? Are you there for her like I wished you were for me? Does she know how great of a father you were? Or does she know how great of a father you could be? Does she know how much I love you? Does she know how truly missed you are? Or how sad I am that I was easily replaced? Mama is here trying to calm me, But I am here getting angrier and angrier, And I am searching for the father I used to have.
