It was more than a house and a peace of land, It was a beginning, It was a foundation, It was a home, It was more than a place to rest our heads, It was where we all came together, It was where the word home had meaning, It was where you was always greeted with a warm smile and hug, It was more than just a building, It was the start of a family, It was a start of what love truly was, It was a start of two souls looking over us, It was more than a house and a peace of land, It was a place my great grandparents made our beginnings, It was where all my love for life and family started, It was more than a place to me, It was who they was and is, It was a place we all saw as a home away from home, It was My great grandparents life, love, and hope for us, It's their essence, Their peace and joy, And it's our roots of our Tree as a family.
